After reflecting on my past processes, I decided to just start making. I didn’t approach these prototypes with any set expectation.
Prototype 1: I began to play with folded book structures. I knew I needed a place holder for the written portion of the assignment. Maybe the written would further help me reflect on my process in preparation for the manifesto object.
Prototype 2: I wanted in include some sort of illustration. I doodle in class as an outlet to process information. I liked the idea of an accordion book because it naturally reads as acontinual flow. It compresses and expands, similar to my design approach.
